This is a healthier alternative for a regular wheat roti or phulka, as it is multigrain roti (Multigrain Bread Recipe). Contains Wheat flour, Raagi Flour & Bajra flour. So this combination makes roti tastier and healthier.

Wheat Flour 3/4 cup
Raagi flour 1/4 cup (Can opt for Raagi Sattva)
Bajra flour 2-3 teaspoons
Salt as per taste
1 teaspoon cumin/jeera powder
Ghee/oil to knead the dough
2 teaspoon grated paneer/cottage cheese (Optional)
2 teaspoon grated cheese (optional)
Water as required for kneading the dough
Ghee/butter to roast the rotis
Mix Wheat flour, Raagi flour / Sattva, Bajra Flour, cheese, paneer salt, and cumin powder together.
Add little ghee.
Now add water and knead a soft dough.
Grease the dough with few drops of ghee.
Let the dough rest for 10 minutes.
Now make medium sized balls of the dough and roll the rotis as per the desired size.
Now roast the rotis from both the side and apply ghee or butter to make them softer.
Serve hot with any subzi. Or give it to kids tiffin.
(Kids do love the paneer and cheese addition, and it makes the roti softer than the plain ones).
My daughter likes to eat this roti as it is without any accompaniments and it proves to be one of the very good and healthy multigrain bread recipes without any harmful ingredients.
